Nomad Coffee Hosts Regional AeroPress Championship Qualifier!

We’re bubbling with excitement here at Nomad Coffee Shop in North Vancouver, and we couldn’t wait to share the big news with you. We are honored to be one of the proud regional hosts for the Canadian AeroPress Championship Season 2024! As a coffee shop dedicated to sustainability, we’re thrilled to bring an event that celebrates both the art of coffee and our commitment to eco-friendly practices to our beloved community.
Canadian AeroPress Championship 2024
This year, the Canadian AeroPress Championship will feature seven regional qualifiers from coast to coast. From Moncton, New Brunswick, to right here in North Vancouver, passionate baristas will battle it out for the chance to advance to the National Championships.

What’s at Stake?
Winners of each regional qualifier will head to Calgary, courtesy of their Regional Hosts, to compete in the National Championships on August 3, 2024. The Canadian Champion from Calgary will then be flown out by Eight Ounce Coffee to Lisbon, Portugal, in September to represent Canada at the World AeroPress Championships.
We are bursting with pride to mention that last year’s Canada Champion came from our very own British Columbia! This victory highlights the incredible talent and passion for coffee in our region, and we can’t wait to see what this year’s competitors will bring.
International Participation
The AeroPress Championships aren’t just a Canadian affair. This year, countries from all around the world, including Argentina, Bolivia, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Panama, Puerto Rico, the United States of America, and Venezuela, will be participating. It’s an incredible opportunity to see the best of the best from various corners of the globe compete and share their love for coffee.
